Tara is a Canadian country singer-songwriter based in Essex, UK. She is the founder of the 'We Write Songs' online community, offering support and resources to songwriters worldwide.
Growing up in Kenora, Ontario, she developed a deep appreciation for iconic country sounds, influenced by her father's musical tastes. Now residing in Billericay, Essex, Tara has established herself as an independent artist, music educator, and podcaster.
She hosts the 'We Write Songs' podcast alongside Celine Ellis, fostering a global community of songwriters. Tara is also the founder of the 'We Write Songs' online community, offering support and resources to songwriters worldwide.

Host
Celine Ellis is a songwriter and artist known for her acoustic performances and authentic songwriting. Since writing her very first song at age 16, she has been actively learning and honing her craft with songwriters from around the world. With a passion for creating music that resonates, she has built a solid reputation releasing her own music, writing for other artists, and co-writing.
Celine thrives on sharing her experiences and know-how as a host of the songwriting community We Write Songs and as an author of songwriting books, workbooks and challenge companions to inspire more people to create and craft music. Celine co-hosts the 'We Write Songs' podcast with Tara Henton, contributing her insights and experiences to support fellow songwriters. She is also an active member of the 'We Write Songs' online community, engaging with songwriters globally.
Celine has recently relocated to Nairobi, Kenya from the UK.
